DID YOU KNOW THAT?

Japanese people when counting on their fingers first extend all fingers outward of only one hand and then close each finger over, one by one starting with the thumb. When all five fingers are closed over, the small finger is opened to indicate six and so on until the number ten is reached at the thumb ending with all fingers opened.
